Event StaffVenue Manager

Event Staff Positions

Part-Time
Seasonal (April–November)
Primarily Saturday Evenings (6–8 hours) + Occasional Sundays and Weekdays

Event Staff support the smooth flow of every event by caring for guests, maintaining the property, and assisting with event production tasks. This position is a great fit for someone who:

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up and taking down ceremony chairs and tables
  • Directing vehicles and welcoming guests
  • Resetting cocktail hour spaces
  • Maintaining restrooms and common areas
  • Managing trash and transporting it to the dumpster
  • Assisting with cleanup and breakdown
  • Monitoring spaces to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper use
  • Supporting other venue-related tasks as needed

Requirements

Applicants must:
  • Be 16 years of age or old
  • Follow written and verbal directions
  • Be comfortable working around alcohol (no serving required) 
  • Lift and move at least 50 pounds
  • Perform physical, active work for 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, crouching, climbing ladders, and kneeling 
  • Work outdoors in all weather

Compensation & Schedule

  • Starting at $15/hour (based on experience)
  • Paid through payroll (no cash)
  • Seasonal position (April-November) with potential for rehire each season based on performance and business needs.
  • Typical shifts: 8 hours on Saturdays plus occasional weekdays.

Venue Manager

Part-Time

The Venue Operations Manager is the on-site leader responsible for overseeing all venue-related operations on event days. This role ensures that staff, vendors, guests, and facilities work together seamlessly to create exceptional experiences.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary on-site leader for venue operations during events
  • Open and/or close the property, depending on shift assignment
  • Provide exceptional, personable service to clients and guests
  • Make real-time decisions and creatively solve problems
  • Navigate sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and discretion
  • Supervise and support event staff
  • Oversee and assist with setup, breakdown, and property resets
  • Coordinate and communicate with vendors and guests as needed
  • Respectfully and consistently enforce venue boundaries, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor all spaces for safety, cleanliness, and proper use
  • Address issues professionally and promptly
  • Oversee and assist with venue-related tasks, including cleaning, minor maintenance, trash removal, and grounds upkeep

Requirements

Applicants must:
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism
  • Follow written and verbal directions
  • Be comfortable working around alcohol

  • Occasional weekday and Sunday shifts available
